".....heh.....what place? But I guess we could try to find someplace. Maybe it'll give you a taste of how I've lived......" said Mindy as she began to walk.

Lexi blinked, relaxing a bit. "....so then.......you're.....NOT going to try to beat us?"

"....nothing's permenant when you're on the run from the law......" said Mindy, looking down a bit. Buttons looked around for some abandoned building.

Lexi looked down a bit. Her date was turning into a reunion with a past enemy.

Buttons barked a bit. As the sky got darker, the holograms disappeared, showing themselves for the misshappened outlaws that they were.

Mindy looked up as she looked towards where Buttons pointed. An old theatre building, looking almost like a Roman colliseum.

"...........perfect," said Mindy as the two started towards the building. As Buttons continued to walk, Mindy stopped and looked back slightly. "You still coming, Speed Demon?"

"If he could've fixed it, why did he make such a big deal out of it in the first place?" asked Lexi, laying back in the seat.

Lexi looked towards him. "Okay, what are you thinking now?"

The two entered the large stadium-like building. It must've been the old World Dome before they built a new one. She looke around at the seats still covered in old cushions. "That'll do," she said, removing cushions. Buttons started removing cushions as well.

Her eyes widened. "You're accepting him that easily?" asked Lexi.

"....he is SO not stronger than Slam......and I dunno....he's big alright. but he seems to have Duck's danger prone-ness," said Lexi. "Which'll DEFINITELY be a problem...."

Removing enough cushions, she made a mustly looking matress at the edge of the stadium. "You can still back out. You could go back to your HQ and sleep in your own room," Mindy called to Rev.

Mindy smirked a bit. "Maybe he didn't like the idea of being near a murderer when he's sleeping...."

Lexi looked down. "Still.....I need more proof before I can okay anything. Besides, it's Ace's choice too. And I want to back you up, I really do. But...I need to be sure of it myself that Sylph's turned over a new leaf."

Lexi's eyes widened. "What?" she asked.

Lexi sighed. "Look, can't we just enjoy our lunch?" asked Lexi.

Lexi sighed, just ordering the same thing. One because she didn't want to be the odd one out, and two because she was too preoccupied with her other thoughts to pick something else. This was supposed to be a romantic dinner, not a villain/hero reunion.

Mindy and Buttons had some of the food Rev had given them. As Buttons fell asleep, Mindy looked up at the gloomy purple sky of the futuristic Earth. ".....my God.....what's happened to this world....?" she asked herself. She felt herself gag. This time, it was a kidney. She collapsed next to Buttons. It was the 2nd organ she lost within 2 years.

Lexi walked with Tech.

Honey? That was a first.

Lexi sighed a bit. "Alright......just....let's have our lunch," said Lexi.

Lexi tried to keep a composed look, not looking too happy or too angry of the possibility that Sylph might be joining.

Lexi patted Tech's back. "Don't worry about it. We'll ask at an appropriate time and then gradually work it out. Hey, it might work," said Lexi.

"Or blue. Those are the only colors I can think of that are still available," said Lexi, eating her food.

"Yeah....speaking of which, I wonder why Rev didn't want blue.....but then again, red does suit him better."

"Hm." Lexi looked around. She noticed a hot blonde woman flirting with some guys. But that didn't seem to matter since all the guys that merely looked at her were drooling. When the girl was about to come into Tech's line of sight, Lexi's eyes narrowed as she put a hand over Tech's eyes.

"I'm saving you," said Lexi as the woman finally left. Some men stayed while others persued.

"Geez.....some men....." Lexi mumbled as she sat back down.

Lexi heard a few guys at the table behind them. They weren't too quiet, so people close to their table could hear them.

"Hey, did you see that blonde chick?"

"Yeah, she was hot!"

"Think she's single?"

"Did you see a ring?"

"I dunno....I wasn't looking for one......"

Lexi tried not to listen anymore. She knew where THAT conversation was going. She looked towards Tech, blushing a bit as she realized that....pretty much....they were by themselves.

".....I think we should head back to the beach house.....I think it'll take a couple of days or less for Ace to cool down."

It was kind of hard for Lexi to think straight, but at least it was a distraction.

Duck quacked in front of him. "Did you win me a prize? Huh, huh?" he aske,d acting like a little kid asking his mom to buy him some candy.

Duck grabbed it, quacking back into his room.

Ace groaned a bit. "I've got a major headache......" he said.

"I dunno.....maybe hit my head one too many times on the weights....." said Ace.

".......I guess....somewhat.....I...I just don't get it........Tech and I have been pals since who knows when......and then he goes and tells me he's hittin' on my sister..... I.....I just don't know what to do...... I don't want to lose our friendship over this but......I dunno......"
