Mindy smirked a bit. "You can. You can just run alll the way to the other half of the globe and take a small bit of you time. Or if you don't feel like travelling that far...." She thought for a moment, wondering if it was good to suggest it.

Lexi's eyes widened. "You mind-reader, that's what 'I' was gonna ask!" said Lexi, giggling a bit.

Lexi closed her eyes. Even with her super hearing, she was to involved with the kiss to hear Ace coming out of his room for some water. He stopped when he saw the two kissing. He backed away, now officially angry with his so called best friend.

Mindy shook her head. "Nah, you wouldn't even consider it....."

"Me too," Lexi whispered back.

Mindy sighed. "Fine...." She looked up at him. "I was thinking you could hang around me for a while. It'll definitely be a change from sitting around a tower all day, right?"

Lexi giggled a bit. She looked towards the movie to see that the credits were about to roll.

"You don't have to, Speed Demon. All up to you," said Mindy.

Lexi nodded, leaving to go get some sleep. After about 10 minutes, Ace tackled Tech to the ground.

Mindy sighed. "If you're sure. Do you want to tell your teammates you're taking a vacation or what?"

Lexi came out after about 15 minutes. She gasped, seeing the two fighting. "Oh no....guys! Guys, stop it!"

Mindy smirked. "I look forward to seeing you tomorrow," she admitted.

"Ah- Tech!" Lexi ran over to Tech. "Tech are you alright?" Lexi looked towards Ace. "Ace....that's it. If you can't accept us, we'll move out of the tower until you do!"

Lexi looked a bit upset. One because she didn't like to see Ace and Tech fighting like this, especially over her. She hadn't felt this bad since she was kidnapped by the Martian. Two was because she didn't like seeing Tech so hurt. And three was because now her older brother, the one she loved and trusted her whole life is now angry at her. She doesn't know how long it'll last, but she hoped not too long.

Mindy was back down in the sewers, eating the bit of food she had.

"What?" asked Lexi, eyes wide. She never knew Rev to take a vacation. "Where are you going?" she asked.

Mindy waited as Lexi got the last of her things. She had left a note for Ace in her room. That was just incase if he had the guts to go into her room and look through it.

"I'm ready....I think," said Lexi.

Lexi looked at him oddly. "You have a beach house?"

Mindy continued to wait.

"Hmm...we'll see," said Lexi.

Mindy was in an alleyway.

Lexi patted Tech's back. "Don't worry. Like you said, this'll all blow over soon....."

Mindy kept to the shadows o f the alleyway so as not to be noticed if others were around. "Hello, Speed Demon."

"Hmm......I'm not sure....Buttons?" asked Mindy.

Buttons barked.

"The Acmetropolis Fair?" asked Mindy, looking quizzaical. She sighed. "Fine....but let's take precautions...." Buttons used a holographic desguiser to disquise their apperance. Mindy's long blonde hair looked neater and her face looked normal.

Lexi decided to change the subject. "So....what does your beach house look like?"

Mindy looked at him oddly. "Is it just me, or are you actually being protective of me?"

"You serious?!" asked Lexi, half exited to see it.

Mindy didn't think too much into it. She looked around.

"Oh- you!" said Lexi, making a small Brain Blast to his tail. Since it was a blast, Tech's regeneration powers were supposed to work.

Mindy asked, "Have you been to the fair before?"

Lexi looked towards Tech. "So where is it?" she asked.

"....what's it like?" Mindy practically whispered.

Lexi stared at the beach house in awe. "Oh.....my....God......" she said.

"....does it have rides? Kiosks? Do they still have arcades?" asked Mindy, her voice sounding childish.

"Hmm..." Lexi went up to the front door, looking back towards Tech.

Mindy was silent. "....I hope it's still fun," she muttered.

Lexi looked around, walking in. "OH.....Oh, wow........" she said, gazing around at its elegance.

Lexi blushed a bit, looking down.

Lexi nodded, looking towards Tech.

She sat next to Tech on the couch.
