"That's good to hear. Anyways, anything I should know about?" Ace looked towards the television where Duck was sitting on the couch. Misty Breeze was talking about how the murderer and her dog escaped.

"Ah...sure thing Tech....." siad Ace.

Lexi saw Tech's sad face. "...Tech..? Wh- what happened?" she asked.

"Ah-....Tech....." She went up to him. "Hmm...." She looked towards Ace's room before looking back towards Tech. "Don't worry Tech. I'll go talk to him..." she said.

Ace still had a peeved off look in his face. He thought he could trust his best friend with everything, but now he was going to take his sister away from him. He couldn't have that.

"Ace," said Lexi, which made him come out of his bubble and look up at a displeased bunny. "We need to talk."

Ace stood up as Lexi closed the door. "Listen Lex, you can't do this....." he began.

"Why? What's so wrong with being with Tech?" asked Lexi.

"He's my best friend. It'll be awkward to have him dating you...." said Ace.

"Ace, you know Tech better than anyone else. And that should be more than enough reason for letting him near me," said Lexi.

"Lexi, you can't date Tech!" Ace yelled at her. Lexi's eyes widened.

Ace blinked, noticing what he just did. "Ah...wh- what I meant to say was....uh..."

"Forget it.....okay? I heard you. I have super hearing after all. Didn't know you'd turn into dad...." said Lexi as she walked out.

"Wha- wait! Lex-!" he began, but she already walked out into the living room.

"Tech......looks like he's not listening to either of us...." said Lexi, sitting next to him and petting his head.

Lexi patted Tech's head. "Don't worry about it.......are we still up for that movie night?" asked Lexi.

Lexi smiled back, hugging him. "I guess......we wait til tonight then."

Meanwhile, Mindy was watching television on Buttons' screen. They were looking for her, but it was less now. Some gave up the search.

"Finally," said Mindy, looking up at the ground above her. "........I dunno...."

Buttons barked, making Mindy's eye widen. "N-no way......you want me to go there again?"

Buttons barked a bit, giving Mindy a holographic blank note.

"....you want me to write him a note?" asked Mindy.

After a confirming bark, Mindy started using her finger to write the letter on the holographic note. After she wrote it, Buttons saved it into his internal computer and bounded off to find Rev.

"Ah- ...okay then...I'll see you later, Tech...." said Lexi, sitting on the couch and turning on the television.

Meanwhile, Buttons bounded off towards HQ.

Buttons used his jet to fly up to Rev's room window and looked in to see if the speed demon was inside.

Meanwhile, LExi decided to clear her mind by going shopping for the rest of the day.

Buttons showed him the hologrpahic message from Mindy, asking to meet him that night.

"P.S. Buttons put me up to it. This is not my idea," the note read.

Buttons barked a bit.

As the day passed, Lexi came back. She knocked on Tech's door. "Hey Tech, I picked out a flick! You ready?" she whispered.

Mindy was on a rooftop, looking up towards the Loonatics headquarters.

"Okay, I picked out the scariest flick I could find: Blood Falls. I saw the previews, this movie's going to rock," said Lexi, smiling.

Mindy looked towards Buttons. "What should I say? 'Hey, glad you came, I have no idea why I called you'? Come on Buttons, what are you trying to pull here?" asked Mindy. Buttons barked. Mindy's eye widened. "You WHAT?! Oh, if you weren't my best friend, Buttons, I would've neutered you."

Buttons whimpered at the thought.

Mindy hugged Buttons. "Aw, come on.....but seriously, what do you see in that bird that makes you think I can trust him?"

Buttons barked.

"Okay, fine, he gave us food, but that doesn't mean-"

Buttons barked a couple more times, making Mindy's eye widen again. "Oh....I....I didn't realize that......where did you get that information?"

Buttons showed her the info he found out via the web. "Oh....okay....." Buttons hid the info.

Meanwhile, Lexi started the flick. "I'm gonna go grab a soda, okay?"

"Hm?" Mindy looked around, wondering where that noise came from.

Lexi came back with a soda. It was starting off scary already, showing some unknown body mutilated horribly.

Lexi looked at Tech. She got a little worried. "You okay? You're not scared already, are you?" she asked. The movie went to a scene where a couple were talking about their financial problems.

"Gah-!" said Mindy, jumping back a bit. After breathing in and out a few times, she looked towards Rev. ".....don't....DO that......" It didn't matter that she was a mass murderer. Her reaction to Rev's sudden appearance was pretty funny. Buttons even bark-laughed.

Lexi continued to look concerned. "Look, if it's too scary or gruesome, we can watch something else. I don't mind....." she said. Secretly, she really wanted to watch the movie. But when it comes to choosing which was more important, watching a different movie was alot healthier and safer than watching her friend......or in her case, boyfriend.......upchucking popcorn and candy.

Mindy's eye narrowed. She wanted to stick out her tongue, but all they came out was what looked like a bulge covered in gauze. When Mindy realized that the bandages covered it, she sighed and muttered, "For the love of...." She made a motion like she was about to take off part of the gauze, but she opened it a bit just so she could stick out her tongue.

Lexi smiled a bit. "Alright....just tell me when the movie becomes too much." The scene was when the couple inherited a house near a waterfall, which has been near where the recent accidents have taken place.

Mindy's eye narrowed. "If you want a straight answer, ask Buttons. He put me up to- ow!" said Mindy as Buttons bit her finger a bit. "Okay, okay!" She sighed a bit, looking towards Rev. "Maybe I'm a little curious as to why you allowed us to live and gave us food when you could've just as easily called the cops on us and we'd be back in prison again."

Lexi looked a bit towards Tech, noticing him looking at her as if he was scanning her for something. Lexi blushed, but for reasons unknown. It was halfway into the movie when the girl was being called by the spirit of the waterfall in her sleep as the boy tried to race home to go save her.

Mindy got curious a bit before looking away. "Why? Cause I was pleading like a weakling?" she practically whispered.

At this point in the movie, it was a calm part where pretty much nothing was going on. Lexi took this time to talk to Tech. "Hey.....Tech?"

Mindy's eye darted towards Rev with a slightly agitated look. "Then why? How did I 'not look so bad'?" asked Mindy, trying to keep her voice low.

Lexi shook her head. "Tech umm.....uhh....." She couldn't ask him, so instead she asked about something trivial. ".......how do you like the movie so far?"

Mindy was silent for a moment. ".....now you don't make any sense." She started to slowly walked up to him. In a way, she seemed cautious. Even though this was only a meet, she still considered him a bit dangerous. If he tried, he would be able to knock her out cold or worse. "........you know very well the things I've done. So I still don't see how you managed to generate kindness towards me......it couldn't be that difficult to explain, could it?"

Finally, Lexi managed to ask, "......do you think everyone should be asleep by now?"

Mindy sighed, sitting down with her legs crossed. "Nevermind.....I'll never understand how a superhero's mind works....."

Lexi shook her head, blushing. "No, it's-it's nothing......." she said. She turned back to the movie. The couple were fighting the waterfall spirit, which turned out to be a demon.

Mindy shook her head. "Unless....you want to talk about something?" she asked. She meant to ask regularly to hint at nothing, but her voice sounded unintentionally alluring as if to hint that she wanted him to stay longer.

Lexi looked down a bit. "Well......um......."

Mindy looked at Rev. "I'm no shrink, but hey, I'll listen," she said, looking towards Rev. She was still a couple yards away from him. Not that it really mattered.

"Um....well....." began Lexi.

"Hmm......" was all Mindy could say. Although that was a surprise.
