Ace is meditating in the training room with no lights on apart from a single lit candle on an oriental stand. His eyes are closed as he sits cross legged on the floor. Suddenly, his eyes fly open and turns around on the floor to look behind him.
Ace: Duck. You can stop trying to annoy me. I can sense you from here.
Ace stands up but hears no reply.
Ace: Okay Duck. Cut it out. The joke's over. Duck? Tech? Lexi? Rev? Slam?
Ace still stands there until he suddenly grabs a hand out of nowhere and tries to flip a hooded figure over. The hooded figure is flipped over but lands on their feet and then tries to flip Ace over. Ace flies to the other side of the room and lands on his feet. He turns his head around to see the figure charging towards him. The figure throws a few fast punches but Ace manages to block them with his arms.
???: My, you are good Ace Bunny. You've been taught well.
Ace: How did you know my name?
???: Lets just say I haven't seen you in a while.
The figure throws another punch and Ace leans back. But at the same time the figure manages to steal the Guardian Strike Sword from Ace's waist where the sword hung from his belt. Ace notices this and tries to get it back but the figure punches Ace on the chest and knocks him to the floor. As Ace tries to get himself up, the figure holds the sword above his head.
???: Guardian Strke Sword Attack!
Ace: Hey! That's my line!
Ace ducks a swing from the sword and does a few backwards somersaultsto avoid the figure's blows. The figure tries to do a smash attack with the sword but Ace uses both of his hands to hold the blade just inches from his head. The figure tries to summon a burning effect on the blade to burn his hands but Ace doesn't feel a thing.
Ace: Nice try cooking me. I can't get burnt by the sword since I own it.
???: Hmm... it seems I have found you. No matter. I'll just take my leave.
The figure kicks Ace in the stomach as Ace flies across the room and knocks himself against a wall. Ace tries push himself up but he collapses down to the floor as the figure takes his hood down and turns his back towards Ace as he turns hihead round to look at Ace from the corner of his eye.
???: I'm sorry to leave you like this, but you were a worthy opponent.
Ace's eye flip open quickly at the same time he gasped. He looks around to see if anyone was there. He gets up from his position and places his hand on his waist and takes out the Guardian Strike Sword. He stares at it, confused about what happened. He looks at his spare hand. He sees no burn marks on his palms. He stares at them odourlessly, still confused about the vision that he had seen.
Ace is swirling his muesli around with his spoon at the breakfast table. Lexi then comes along and sees Ace.
Lexi: Hi Ace. Are you okay? You haven't even touched your muesli yet.
Ace: Eh, I'm just a bit tired that's all.
Lexi: You? Tired? But you're such a morning person. What's wrong?
Ace: Well-
Before Ace could answer, Zadavia's hologram pops up and everyone goes into the meeting room.
Zadavia: We have a serious issue Loonatics. Massive has escaped again.
Duck: What!? Again!? When is he going to learn that he'll be dragged back into prison again the more he tries to escape?
Zadavia: That is why you have got to get him back in there, Danger Duck. Zadavia out.
Her hologram disappears.
Ace: You heard the boss lady. Lets jet! _____________________________________________________________________
Meanwhile, Massive is outside the bank carrying out the bags of money.
Massive: Heh heh. This gets easier everytime.
Ace: And it gets easier everytime we have to deal with you.
Massive turns around and sees the Loonatics flying above him.
Massive: So, you think getting me back is going to be easier than the last time? Then why don't you come down and show me!
Massive reaches his arm out and tries to use his powers to bring Ace and the others down. But they all fly away quickly before his power gets them. Slam tries to turn himself into a tornado and spin Massive around. But Massive sees this and reaches his arm out again and throws Slam into Duck who was about to shoot an orb.
Massive: If you think that's it, you've got to see my new party trick.
Massive places his hands on the ground and it suddenly turns a watery blue colour. The other loonatics suddenly feel so heavy, they were immediately pulled down to the ground. Fortunatley, Ace jumps onto the lamp post and hangs on the side of it.
Tech: Ace! Get out of here! You'll be pulled down too if you don't get out of here now!
Ace watches in horror as he sees the others struggling to get up.
Ace: Oh man! What am I going to do?
As he said this, he stares at his glowing sword. Then he lifts his head up towards Massive.
Ace: Huh? Words are... coming into my head? Ra...
He aims the Guardian Strike Sword at Massive.
Ace: GUARDIAN STRIKE SWORD! RAY OF LIGHT!
A powerful beam of light shoots out of Ace's sword and hits Massive, which throws him at a side of a building, knocking him unconcious and stopping the gravitational glow from dragging the other Loonatics down. Ace's jaw drops as he stares at his sword which stops glowing.
Ace: Wha- What am I saying? What did I just do?
As Ace looks up, he sees a hooded figure standing on top of a skyscraper. The figure then jumps off the building. Ace stares for a couple more seconds before he hears a voice from Duck.
Duck: Ace! Are you gonna come down from there or are we gonna have to get you down!? Ace looks down and slides down the post as he is embraced by his team mates.
Rev: Wow Ace! What did you do to Massive? He wouldn't budge from the ground until you gone and blasted him!
Ace: I... I thought I saw someone jump of that skyscraper.
Lexi: Probably your imagination.
Tech: Well lets get Massive back into jail and then we can get back to the tower.
The others go to sort Massive out as Ace takes one last glance at the sky scraper where the figure stood before.
Everyone enters the HQ after putting Massive away. Ace just looks odourlessly at his sword until he feels a hand touch his shoulder. He turns his head to look at Lexi's face.
Lexi: Ace. Are you sure you're feeling alright? There was something you wanted to tell me this morning.
Ace: Uh... it's nothing now. I'm going to bed early. I'll see ya later.
A small 7 year Ace opens his eyes and finds himself on a grassy field. He looks around to see if anyone was there.
Adult Ace's voice: Where am I? What am I doing here?
???: Morning young man. Did you sleep well?
Ace turns to see a woman in a burgandy cloak with the hood over her head. He rubs his eyes.
Ace: I slept okay. Where's the other man?
At that moment, a man in a sandy brown hood approached the two carrying fire wood.
Man: Hey. I see the kid's awake. How ya doin'?
Ace: I'm doing fine sir.
Man: Good to hear. You wanna drink?
Ace: Sure.
He recieves a cup of water and looks into it when he sees his reflection.
Adult Ace's voice: This... this is me, from when I was little.
The man turns to the woman.
Man: Do you think me and Ace could go somewhere private to talk?
Woman: Alright. Don't take too long. We leave in the morning.
The man nods his head as he takes Ace to a different part of the field.
Ace: What's going on? How do I know these people? I've never seen them before.
Both of them stop and look up to the sky.
Ace: Wow. The stars look so cool tonight.
Man: Yeah. But you know, these stars aren't just for lookin' at.
The man points to a star constellation where it looks like a stick man holding a sword.
Man: You see that man with the sword up there?
Ace: Yeah.
Man: Well, one day you're going to be just like that man. A strong warrior with invincible courage. One day, you will fufill a great destiny. But to do so, you must have courage. If you don't, then everyone will be in danger.
Ace looks down on the ground.
Man: But if you ever get scared or you have some sort of fear, just remember to go outside with the stars in the sky, sit down, close your eyes and you will feel as though you're not alone, because all those who fought before you will be there to guide you. And so will I.
Ace: Okay.
He continues to look up to the sky at the stars with the man. ____________________________________________________________________
Ace opens his eyes to see himself in his room. He sits up and looks down to his hands.
Ace: That dream... why do I feel so... nervous? What does it mean?
He looks outside his window to see the black sky, blanketed in white stars across the sky.
Ace is standing on the roof gazing up to the stars. He sits down as he croses his legs and closes his eyes. He breathes deeply until he hears voices in his head. ____________________________________________________________________
An 5 year old Ace is training in an underground type place, with the woman with blonde hair with pale yellow skin when the hood was put back, watching him with a sad expression on her face. Suddenly, the man who is an adult grey and white rabbit with his hood down, enters. Ace turns around and gives a smile to him as he hugs the man.
Man: Hey Ace. How ya doin'?
Ace: Fine sir.
Woman: Buzz. Isn't there something you wanted to show Ace?
Man: Yes there is. Ace, as you'll be the next warrior to take my place to hold the sword, I will give you a little insight to the power of this sword.
Ace: Really?
Man: Yes Ace. Now grab onto the sword with me.
Ace grabs the sword with the man holding it too.
Man: Now, I want you to focus on this power and concentrate. Are you ready?
Ace: Yeah.
The sword glows a golden aura around both of them.
Man: Do you feel this power?
Ace: Yes. It feels so warm and fuzzy. It's kinda making me sleepy. I think I'm gonna...
Ace was about to fall onto the floor when the man catches him just in time. He picks Ace up and gives him to the woman.
Man: You know what to say to him?
The woman nods as the man exits out of the underground place.
Woman: Now Ace. You must listen closely. You will only wake up when you feel the cold air on your skin. And when you wake up, you will remember nothing of your father, because you have never met him or known anything about him.
The man then rushes in.
Man: M' ladyship! They've found us! We've got to get Ace out of here now! And here, take this.
The man gives the sword to the woman.
Woman: But that's your only weapon! You can't fight without it!
Man: I can fight in hand to hand combat! I'd rather see this sword mysteriously disappear than see it in the hands of a tyrant! Go! I'll hold them off!
The woman reluctantly nods her head as she runs carrying the sword and Ace in her arms. She runs until she finds a quiet spot where she takes out a small blue box and presses a purple button on it. It turns itself into a small spaceship, where she places Ace in the ship and closes the glass. She presses another purple button to start the ship. It hovers for a moment and then it blasts off into space. The woman just watches the ship fly towards the horizon.
Woman: May the gods of Freling guide you to a safer place little one. You are the only one who can save everyone now. _______________________________________________________________________
A tear rolls down Ace's face as his face stays focussed. He hears echos of voices becoming more clearer as they kept repeating.
???: Ace. Are you okay?
Ace turns around to see the others standing behind him.
Lexi: Has something upset you? You're crying.
Ace wipes his face and stares at the tears on his palms. He looks up to the others and then he gets up and storms off into the HQ.
Lexi: Ace! What's going on? Where are you going?
The others follow Ace to the meeting room where Ace starts frantically pressing a purple button.
Tech: Ace. Has something happened? What's got into you?
Ace: Zadavia! Zadavia! Come in Zadavia! Zadavia!
Tech: Ace! Calm down. What's wrong?
Tech was about to put his hand on Ace's shoulder when Ace throws Tech to the ground with his unoccupied arm.
Duck: Hey! Now that was uncalled for!
Rev: Ace! What's got into you? We're your friends! Remember?
Ace: I-
Zadavia: Is there a problem loonatics?
Ace turns to the holographic Zadavia.
Ace: Why didn't you tell me before!? Why didn't you tell me about him!?
Zadavia: I see. I knew this day would come. It was bound to spoken about sooner or later.
Tech: What's going on Zadavia? What did you mean by that?
Zadavia: Tech, Duck, Lexi, Rev and Slam. I think it would be best if you don't hear this conversation.
Duck: And why shouldn't we be involved? We should know why Ace has been acting strange too.
Zadavia: This is a private matter Duck. You don't have the right to know the business of others if it doesn't concern you.
Duck: Okay! Okay! I get the message. We're going.
The other Loonatics leave Ace and Zadavia in the meeting room alone.
Ace: Now I want to know the truth. I want to everything that happened to me and my father said. No secrets. Nothing missed out. No more lies.
Zadavia: As you wish. I am aware that you were not from Acmetropolis. Your real home was where your father and I lived.
Ace: Freling?
Zadavia: Yes. Before the sword got passed down to you, your father used to protect our royal family. He would lay his life on the line just so he can see us carry on with our monarchy. He would also lay his life down to you, his only son and heir to take the Guardian Strike Sword and weild it for the salvation of the people. That was how loyal he was to us.
Ace: So what happened?
Zadavia: One day, he was summoned to my brother's chamber to talk about the alligence between him and your father. _____________________________________________________________________
A grey and white rabbit anthro, wearing a sandy brown jacket with a hood, enters a room with a man looking over Freling from the balcony.
Rabbit: You summoned me here my leige?
Man: Yes. Indeed I did. I wanted to speak with you on a matter that can change the future of Freling. I just want to ask you a question: How loyal are you to this royal family?
Rabbit: Sir. I would protect this family and everyone who lives here on this planet. I would rather die than see one of you dead my leige.
Man: Indeed. And since you have been so loyal to Freling, I would appreciate it if we could make a deal.
Rabbit: What kind of deal?
Man: I will give you half of my kingdom and half the wealth I have, in exchange for your alligence to only be for me.
Rabbit: Does Zadavia know of this arrangement? Will she be getting a part in this?
Man: I'm afraid that my sister won't be in this arrangement Buzz. This is only between you and me.
Buzz: Then I'm sorry Optimatus but I will have to refuse the offer.
Optimatus: WHAT!? I offer you everything that any man would do anything for, and you're willingly going to throw that back in my face!?
Buzz: Sir. I am loyal to the royal family. That includes Zadavia too as well as you. I cannot hand myself over to just you. If I only protect you, where will it leave the future of Freling and it's people?
Optimatus: And where will it leave the future of the long history line of those who weild the so called "Guardian Strike Sword"? Where will that leave you and your only son? Ace is it? The poor thing will never stand a hope in the future if there's no-one to guide him.
Buzz: You leave my son out of it! Like you said, this discussion is only between you and me!
Optimatus: Buzz. I will give you this and only this last chance to reconsider. Will you swear your alligence to me?
Buzz: I'm sorry Sire. But if I swear alligence to you, I have to swear alligence to everyone else in the family.
Buzz approaches the door as Optimatus begins to speak.
Optimatus: Fine. But I want you to remember this Buzz: From the moment you walk out of this room, you will regret making the wrong decision. Do you understand?
Buzz: Indeed I do.
Buzz exits the room leaving Optimatus looking over Freling from the balcony. Optimatus only looks from the corner of his eye as Buzz exits.
Optimatus: And so, the sun will rise on a new sword weilder. ____________________________________________________________________
Zadavia: After the arguement, Optimatus swore that he will be the next person in line to rule Freling with the Guardian Strike Sword in his hand. He stopped at nothing until there was no-one left in your bloodline to carry the legend of the Guardian Strike Sword. Even if it meant burning buildings down and killing so many innocent people. We had no choice but to get you away from Optimatus in order for you to survive.
Ace: Your brother, did all that just so, he could find me and dad and... so many people. Gone...
Zadavia: Don't think that this was your fault Ace. You weren't the one who destroyed the planet and killed so many people.
Ace: Do you know where my father is? At this moment in time?
Zadavia: The last time I saw him, was the day when you left Freling to Acmetropolis. I never saw him again after that.
Ace: So you're saying he could be dead?
Zadavia: We do not know at this moment in time. But the one thing that he told you to do was to carry on and fight for peace and justice like a true warrior would. Do not let any draw backs put you down.
Ace: If only he was here to say that.
Suddenly an alarm goes off and Zadavia and Ace looks onto the screen. The screen shows a wormhole opening with a run away train shooting out of it.
Zadavia: That looks like that train Deuce was in when he disappeared.
Zadavia: Optimatus has managed to come back to Acmetropolis, along with Deuce.
Duck: Them again!? When will they ever learn?
Ace: Well their going to recieve a lesson they'll never forget!
Zadavia: Ace. Do not get angered over them. Because of the fact they both tried to lose your life does not mean revenge is the answer. I know it was hard for you try and comprehend the truth I have told you, but you must carry on as brave as you have been before you came to know the truth.
Ace: I'm sorry. I'll do my best. Lets Jet!
Meanwhile, Deuce and Optimatus are terrorising the streets as the town's folk run in fear.
Deuce: I'm quite suprised the dumb rabbit hasn't even arrived yet. Guess he's too scared to lose his precious sword which is supposed to be mine.
Optimatus: Patience Deuce. He'll come out of his hole sooner or later. We just have to wait.
Ace: Well you don't have to wait any longer!
Optimatus and Deuce turn around to find the loonatics flying above them.
Optimatus: Ah. I see we have company. And that includes the one with the sword that will soon be in my hand.
Ace: Not while there's air left in my body.
Ace starts charging at Optimatus.
Lexi: Ace! Wait!
But Ace doesn't stop as he draws his sword and hits Optimatus's metal arm.
Optimatus: So you want to end your life sooner? Be my guest!
Optimatus blocks another blow from Ace's sword and then tries to hit Ace on the head but Ace dodges it. Then Deuce turns to the others.
Deuce: And while he gets the rabbit, I'll just have to take the rest on the rest of you.
Deuce charges at the other loonatics as they spread out away from him. Now the battles rage on. Ace blocks another blow from Optimatus.
Optimatus: My, you have become stronger since we first met. You almost remind me of your father.
Ace: Don't try to psyche me out by using emotional blackmail! This has nothing to do with my family issues!
Optimatus: Heh heh. That was what your father said to me before we became enemies. It's such a shame he's dead now.
Ace: AAAARRRRRRGGHHHH I'LL KILL YOU!!!
But his anger lets his guard down, making Optimatus punch him in the stomach across the street. Ace hits himself against a wall. He tries to get up but he just drops down again as Optimatus approaches him.
Optimatus: Your father has taught you very well Ace. But it's a shame he didn't teach you to control your temper. And so, the sword will finally belong to me, thanks to your hot temper.
Optimatus charges a laser up as the others stop and stare at the event.
Lexi: Ace! No!
The laser strikes causing a blinding light that no-one can see through. The light clears to reveal what damage has been caused.
Optimatus: WHAT!? THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!
Ace opens his eyes to see a figure standing in front of him with a sword in his hands. The figure turns his head towards Ace.
Buzz blocks another blow from Optimatus and then he pushes Optimatus across the street.
Buzz: Ace. You gotta get out of here. That guy is after you.
Ace: I know that dad. I've faced him before. Besides, I have the Guardian Strike Sword. We can beat him together.
Buzz: You used to say that to me every single time I had to go away. You know that?
Ace nods his head.
Buzz: Well, we have a lot of catching up to do then don't we?
Both nod their heads at the same time as Ace gets up and draws his sword. They both see Optimatus ready with his purple glowing hands as he aims the purple lasers at the two rabbit anthros. Then the two bunnies charge at the villain in a great martial arts battle while Optimatus tries to block their attacks. Buzz charges at Optimatus but the villain spots an unguarded spot and aims the purple laser through Buzz's body. With so much energy, Buzz screams in pain as he is flung into a van.
Optimatus: That shall teach you to cross me rabbit.
Ace: Hey! That's Bunny to you! Guardian Strike Sword Ray Of Light!
Optimatus turns around and gets blasted across the street and hits a building. Deuce runs to the injured villain.
Optimatus: Deuce. Get us out of here. You're the only one left.
Deuce summons his scoot zoomer and they both get on it as they zoom away from the Loonatics.
Optimatus: Well, at least one of the rabbits have gone. I'll get the other one next time. This isn't the end rabbit!
Optimatus and Deuce disappear into the sky. Ace then turns to his injured father lying on the ground.
Ace: Dad. Are you okay?
Buzz: Ace. I don't think I'm going to make it.
Ace: You have to dad. We'll get you to the med room in our HQ. We'll make you better and-
Buzz: I'm afraid I haven't got enough time left to live thanks to Optimatus. But at least he didn't get your sword.
Ace: Your sword dad. You just passed it on to me.
Buzz: But you weild it with the skill that I haven't even had. I'm afraid my time has gone. You must carry on this legacy. You are the one to save all with that sword.
Buzz slowly closes his eyes.
Ace: No dad! Don't go! We haven''t even caught up and...
Ace bursts into tears as Lexi places her hand on his shoulder.
Lexi: Both of you were very brave. You should be proud of what you two have done.
Ace raises his head and then looks down on the body. He then gets up and takes the sword out. He holds it above Buzz's body as though he was about to stab him.
Rev: Ace, what are you doing?
Ace: Guardian Strike Sword Healing!
Ace stabs the sword into his father. But instead of blood spilling out, a gust of green glowing winds surrounds the area. The bruises and cuts and all of the damage on Buzz's body start to disappear. As soon as the injuries were gone, Ace takes the sword out of his dad. Ace wobbles and then faints but he is caught by his dad. At lot of gasps fill the atmosphere.
Duck, Lexi, Rev and Slam are in an anonymous part of the forest away from town with Buzz, who is about to enter his spaceship.
Lexi: Should we wait for Ace? He might want to say goodbye to you.
Buzz: Well, he poured his heart and soul just to heal me so. A healing power created from the sword that powerful would have made Ace lose conciousness for at least 2 or 3 days.
???: HEY! BUZZ!
From the other side stands Ace. He then runs up to his dad and tries to punch him but his puch was blocked by Buzz's hand.
Ace: Why didn't you wait until I woke up!? You could have at least said goodbye then! Why are you trying to avoid me!? Answer me!
Lexi: Ace! Stop that!
Buzz: No, he's right. He has the right to be angry with me. I was never there for him when he needed me. And I am very sorry that I was never there.
Ace: When I was 7 years old dad, I had to tell my class what my dad does. Everyone else said that their dads were doctors, firemen, policemen and anything else that a normal kids dad did. And when it was my turn, I tried so hard to find something that you did for a living. I even tried hard to remember who you were. But no matter how hard I tried, the only answer I could give was that I didn't know. That really upset me. That made me cry every night I went to bed. I'm not even sure if I should call you my dad. Cos you were never there when I did all kinds of things that a normal kid would do.
Buzz: You know? Both of us wouldn't be here right now if we stayed in Freling. I'm pleased with the progress you made without me. You even discovered more than what I did when I first held that sword. You have very good friends Ace. Friends who take care of you and accept you for who you are. I just wish I would have seen you smile with them.
Ace: ... Does this look like the sort of face that is crying now?
Buzz: Indeed. One more thing.
Buzz pushes Ace's body as Ace flies into the tree behind him.
Buzz: You let your guard down. I think you must be getting weaker if you didn't keep that guard up through out this conversation.
Ace gets up and gives a laugh as he turns to his friends.
Ace: My dad's the best isn't he?
The others give smiles that even Buzz gives a smile about before his departure.
Duck. You can stop trying to annoy me. I can sense you from here.
